HIGH SCORES
We reported some very high scores (see Latest News) from the Monday Doubles League at Tunbridge Wells only to find out later that the league has not yet submitted its sanction papers. Sadly the scores cannot therefore be officially recognised. However, I would like to congratulate Simon Knight who rolled games of 237, 215, 210 for an excellent 662 series. This was bettered by his team mate, Adam Green, who achieved a superb 742 series comprising games of 231, 289 and 222. They rolled a 1404 team series and high team games of 504 and 468.
On the 15th November, Mean Machine from the Olympic League, Gravesend, achieved an excellent team series of 2470 - Rob Packman rolled a 612, John Hinch a 637, Neil Webb a 589 and Keith Hodge a 632 series. The middle game of this series was a superb 859 team game, the second highest in the county this season. The next week, 22nd November, Gordon Puxty bowled games of 255, 203, 246 giving hm a brilliant 704 series. Also on the 22nd November, Mandi Buckley had a personal best series of 612 with games of 200, 189 and 223.
Mean Machine's team game and Mandi's series make it onto this season's Area High Scores .
