SUCCESS FOR KENT GIRLS IN UNDER 18'S INTER COUNTIES.
The Kent Under 18's girls finished in first place in the Inter County qualifying round at Newbury. They will go on to the final at Nuneaton in July. Unfortunately the boys missed the cut by two places.
The Kent Under 18 Girls team (Kirsty Belchem, Hannah Frost, Chelsie Johnstone, Hannah Kohler, Chloe Monks, Katie Reeves, and Hannah Smith) got off to a flying start with 1065, the highest girls team game of the day. The team average over the six games was 182.3. Kirsty averaged highest of our team with 194.8 over 5 games which included a 249 and a 245. Other high games were a 255 and 215 from Hannah Frost, 238 and 221 from Hannah Kohler and a 236 from Chelsie Johnson.

MAIN POINTS OF INTEREST FROM THE AGM
John Lyall, Kent Area secretary, reported a slight downturn in the number of BTBA members in the county. He also pointed out that the tournament entries are also decreasing.
The Treasurer reported that, with fewer members and less revenue from tournaments, our income is significantly lower that last year. He pointed out that some of the leagues have agreed that each member will pay £1 per season into KTBA funds in place of the old 5p scheme. Much needed revenue is now coming in from the website and will show up in next year's report.
The InterCounty Organiser, Junior Sub Committee Chairman and Under 24's Sub Committee Chairman all gave reports detailing the successes and disappontments of the year. All of these matters have been previously reported on the website and can be found in the relevant sections.
Two new candidates were welcomed onto council. Kevin Plewis from Cliftonville takes over from Peter Leeke as Junior Sub-committee chairman and David Clinker joins us as a representative from Bexleyheath.
