Adult Squads Qualify For 2009 Nationals

Our Kent teams travelled to Fareham on Saturday 5th September to take part in the southern area preliminary round. The event was held over two days, with the top six going forward to the Nationals to be held in Nottingham in November. At the end of Saturday, our Ladies were in 4th place, having been in 5th place for most of the day. They finally finished in 6th place overall.

The Men had been in 4th place until the very last game, when Joe Cooper bowled a 243, Steve Williams a 215 and Alex Thistleton a 214, taking the team total to 1024, which pulled them up to 2nd place. They finally finished in 5th place overall
